The Corporate and Commercial group is an experienced and successful team in Australia.
Within the Corporate and Commercial group, the TMT team regularly advises in areas of intellectual property law and communications technology law on issues such as e-business and online transactions, websites, privacy and contracts.
Position Description
The firm’s Sydney office is now looking to recruit a Commercial TMT Lawyer and Senior Associate into its busy team as a result of growth.
The role will see you working with three highly-regarded partners in the Sydney team, in areas of technology and telecommunications, outsourcing, intellectual property and general commercial matters. The prestigious client-based will include both government bodies and corporate bodes in a broad range of industries.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have between 3-8 years’ post admission experience as a commercial lawyer in the areas of TMT, preferably gained within a mid or top-tier, national or international law firm.
In addition to this, you will:
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Have an ability to develop and foster long term client relationships;
- Have an ability to work in a team and autonomously;
- Be focused on delivering commercially sound and cost effective solutions; and
- Have experience mentoring and delegating to junior lawyers.
