The Team

The firm's Melbourne Real Estate practice provides advice on the complete spectrum of real estate and development matters. They are skilled in advising a wide range of clients on:

• acquisitions and disposals of assets in the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and hotels space;
• tendering for and constructing property developments and acquisitions;
• commercial and industrial leasing; and
• general real estate issues such as subdivisions, easements and financing.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in large-scale, complex real estate transactions, with responsibilities including drafting and reviewing contracts and leases, providing advice on property-related issues, preparing due diligence reports, attending settlements and assisting in negotiations. 

You will work closely with leading partners and senior lawyers, benefiting from structured training and mentoring while gaining exposure to challenging work. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years' post admission experience from another leading property practice.

 In addition, you will have:

• A strong client-focused approach, with the ability to provide commercial legal advice
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
• The ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure
• A collaborative, positive, and energetic mindset
