We are currently working with a global organisation who is a leader in the vertical transportation industry. They are seeking a general commercial lawyer with exposure to the property and/ or construction industry for an initial 6 month contract with possibilities of extension. This role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively with a strong client focus.
  
The team is well supported and includes 4 counsels including the General Counsel as well as a small team of contract managers.
  
Requirements
  
In addition to experience across the construction and/or property industry you will have:

• Strong risk assessment capabilities;
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills;
• Legal project management skills;
• The ability to translate strategic direction into operational goals to achieve core business outcomes;
• Management of external legal counsel;
• Collaborative working style, strong communication skills;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
• Have advanced drafting skills; and
• Be adaptable, flexible and commercial in your approach.
