The Role 

Our client is currently looking to hire an ambitious and experienced Corporate lawyer with a strong track record in Private M&A matters to join their thriving team in Sydney. 

As a key member of the team, you will be providing strategic advice on various corporate transactions, including private M&A, private equity and venture capital deals, both within Australia and internationally.

You will foster strong client relationships from the outset, take a central role in drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and oversee due diligence processes.

Requirements 

The firm are seeking an Australian or New Zealand admitted lawyer with between 4-6 years of post admission experience in Corporate M&A. 

Additionally, you will have: 

• Excellent academic background and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A keen interest in understanding clients' needs and fostering relationships to help grow the practice’s reputation.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, tackle complex issues, and remain composed under pressure.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to move projects forward.
• A genuine passion for mentoring and supporting the development of junior team member
