The Role The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of transactions, including public and private M&A, venture capital investments, and growth-stage funding. This role offers the opportunity to advise high-profile clients on strategic transactions, provide corporate governance advice, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on sophisticated public and private acquisitions, joint ventures, and governance matters;
- Supporting venture capital funds, start-ups, and corporates on growth investments and related transactions;
- Drafting and negotiating key documentation, including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, and purchase agreements;
- Managing various aspects of transactions independently while collaborating with cross-practice teams on complex deals and
- Providing strategic, commercially focused advice to clients in fast-evolving markets
Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have
2-4 PQE in a leading corporate or transactional practice. The successful applicant should demonstrate:
- Strong experience in M&A, venture capital, and general corporate law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to deliver practical solutions.
- Familiarity with BVCA standard documentation and regulatory frameworks.
- The ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Interest or experience in sectors such as life sciences, technology, or energy is advantageous.

MUST be qualified solicitors, ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
