Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join their dynamic and friendly Real Estate team on a full-time basis.
The Role:
In this role, you’ll help manage property transactions with a focus on developments and a variety of conveyancing matters. From handling databases through our in-house platform, Eportfolio, to using PEXA and PEXA Projects, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth flow of files and documents. You’ll also handle everything from opening new matters to drafting correspondence and conducting relevant searches. This position gives you the opportunity to run files from start to finish with minimal supervision, while also engaging directly with clients and managing an administrative assistant.
Your Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee developments, including large and small-scale projects.
- Work on commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
- Handle partner, staff, and key client residential conveyancing matters.
- Register leases, easements, and other dealings via PEXA.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a commercial firm
- Confidence in building and maintaining excellent client relationships,
- High-level computer skills, particularly in Excel, PEXA, and other conveyancing software, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time.
- The ability to determine when a lawyer’s input is needed in a transaction.
- The capability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset, with excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently, as well as being a collaborative team player.
