We represent one of the largest innovative property development organisations in Australia as they have an opening for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team on an immediate start, 12-month engagement.

The Role  
 
You will work closely with the senior members of the team, and provide overall support across the business, focussing on major development projects and at times across the wider legal team and your responsibilities will be quite broad including:

• Advising the business on property developments and general projects; 
• Advising on high end commercial property developments, as well as large scale property transactions, including leading large acquisitions and disposals; and
• Providing general legal support advice to the wider legal team.

  
Requirements 

Our client is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with general property, development law experience. In addition, the idea candidate is likely to have:

• Strong commercial focus; 
• The ability to build and maintain client & stakeholder relationships; 
• Experience with complex acquisition and disposal transactions; and
• The ability to engage in a dynamic team environment.
