The Team 

You will be working as a key member of the General Insurance team. The practice is known for dealing with complex, technically challenging claims, offering an excellent environment for career growth and development. As part of a national practice, the Melbourne team benefits from a collaborative culture.

The Role 

The successful candidate will primarily focus on handling public liability claims, managing a diverse portfolio of matters for Australian and international insurers, government entities, and self-insured corporations.

Requirements 

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of post-admission experience (at Lawyer level), or 5+ years at Senior Associate level in insurance law, ideally with public liability knowledge.

In addition to this the successful lawyer will also have:

• Strong technical expertise with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Proven skills in negotiation and advocacy, with the ability to represent clients effectively.
• A genuine enthusiasm for tackling complex and high-profile legal challenges.
