The Team

The Statutory Insurance team, based in Melbourne and comprising around 60 professionals, represents numerous employers in the management of workers' compensation claims and litigation. The team also has a thriving recoveries practice, providing additional variety and career development opportunities.

The Role 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and advising on a broad spectrum of workers' compensation matters, collaborating closely with a team of experienced partners and senior lawyers.The position offers exposure to a diverse array of complex and high-stakes cases, making it perfect for an individual eager to advance their career in this fast-paced and evolving area of law.

Requirements 

The team are seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate with a minimum of 3 years post admission experience. 

Additionally, you will have: 

• Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and high-quality documents.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload with competing deadlines and priorities.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the work.
