The Role

The successful candidate will join the Brisbane-based Insurance Litigation team, working on a diverse range of complex matters with a focus on financial lines litigation, cyber security, and professional indemnity. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with one of the firm’s highly experienced Principals, providing valuable mentorship and career development opportunities.

As part of a dynamic and high-performing team, the successful candidate will contribute to significant client matters and gain exposure to key areas of the insurance litigation field. 

Requirements 

The firm is seeking a lawyer with 1-2 years of post-admission experience, ideally in professional indemnity and/or financial lines, gained in an Insurance Litigation practice.

Additionally, you will have:

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to be a valuable member of a collaborative team.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills.
• A genuine interest in cyber security law (prior experience is not essential, although candidates with relevant experience will be highly regarded).
