The Team 

You will be a key team member of this well-regarded Employment practice. The team advises medium to large employers, both locally and internationally, on a wide range of employment and industrial relations issues, including both litigious and non-litigious matters. Their areas of expertise encompass discrimination, workplace health and safety (WHS), immigration, privacy, and additional legal concerns.

The Role 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team, gaining valuable exposure to a diverse range of legal matters.

The role involves maintaining strong communication with clients, keeping them informed of progress, contributing to complex litigation cases, including restraints, general protections, discrimination, and unfair dismissal claims, and supporting the discovery process and document preparation.

Requirements 

The team are seeking a talented employment lawyer, with between 4-7 years post admission experience obtained within a large national or international law firm. 

Additionally, you will have: 

• Strong technical, analytical, and drafting abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering commercial solutions.
• Proactive and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
