The Opportunity: We’re partnering with a highly regarded mid-tier law firm in Sydney’s CBD, seeking a
Billing Coordinator to join their
Commercial Litigation team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This is a
high-impact role where you’ll oversee government reporting, manage complex billing cycles, and ensure compliance with client billing guidelines. You’ll work closely with Partners and Senior Associates to ensure accurate time entry, budget adherence, and seamless billing operations.

Key Responsibilities: - Quarterly government reporting and ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements
- Managing complex monthly billing cycles and adhering to client billing guidelines
- Preparing debtor and WIP reports to provide financial insights
- Overseeing cost agreements and ensuring billing stays within budget
- Liaising with Partners and Senior Associates to review time entries and meet critical deadlines
- Ensuring all billing deadlines are met with precision and efficiency
About You: - Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a billing role within a law firm or professional services environment
- Attention to Detail: You pride yourself on accuracy and ensuring all billing records are compliant and error-free
- Autonomy & Initiative: You can work independently, take ownership of your role, and proactively solve problems
- Strong Communication: Confidently liaise with senior stakeholders and ensure clear, professional interaction
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with Aderant is highly regarded
