The charity Montgomery chose to support last quarter was Foodbank, an excellent organisation that supports charities and vulnerable Australian families living with food insecurity. This is something which has significantly increased since the start of the pandemic and the need for Foodbank’s emergency food hampers has now increased by 351%. The impact of our donation will see a family of 4 put food on the table for around the next 6 months.
Foodbank is an organisation that is really making a difference, not only by supporting millions of vulnerable Aussies, but also by playing a role in reducing food waste. More on that here.
And while we’re on the subject of sustainability, we are extremely excited to announce another of Montgomery’s 2021 initiatives…
